open chat?
on a few forums i've been on there is a "open chat" on the main forum home page. for example synistermustang.net just so everytime someone wants to say something they dont have to make a new thread. just an idea.

At some point I believe we voted it down, but don't recall why. We can simply start an open thred in Off Topic and keep it going as such. Possibly title it as a Shout Out Thread.
