Ive seen a motor literally shut off from lack of air on the highway with the snorkel backwards.
So am I to assume you're smart enough to remember to turn it back around? Sorry, assumption of knowledge is the last thing I do with this group :-P

The snorkel isn't a problem if you are only driving it off road. Hit a mud hole and make a good splash and it could go straight into the intake. The same with driving on a dusty trail. Won't be sucking the dirt in directly.

good point it doesnt look like much of a highway jeep to me..

Be a smartass.
Doesn't hurt me at all.
Was only trying to help.

No speedy I don't think u r bullshitting me but you do know that we are not some noob wheelers or mall crawlers. It just seemed that you were trying to bashing something that needs no bashing. A damm snorkel come on….Now that we have handled that how have you been Keith u staying busy in this slow market…? Did you ever get another jeep to play with yet? You sold your MJ right…I forgot looking good Glassman should be done soon..

Well said Chris, I think that all the jeepers understand that most jeeps built like mine are towed to the trails.
But after 5 years of running a snorkel I have had far too many tree limbs punch a hole in the snorkel grill our get caught under the head of it, so by turning it around the branches slide right over the top and as Nick said it keeps the mud out.
I thought it was strange no one asked about this season build so here it is. And I’ll keep that “assumption of knowledge” in mind.
Up front a Dana 60 “that’s an axle” ARB locker 5:13R&P HI steer with ram assist full 35 spline shaft, 16” Saw coilovers
IN the rear a shaved 14 Bolt “that’s an axle too” with Detroit locker and rear disk
Transfer case is a Stak 2 speed 5:33 to 1
Tires 39.5 IROK on 17” weld on beadlocks.
4 point SCHROTH RACING HARNESS
